Bhoj Kumar Acharya

I am currently working at the Department of Zoology, Sikkim University. I have been undertaking research on ecology and biogeography of various taxonomic groups in the Eastern Himalaya for the past twenty years, with birds and butterflies as the main focus. My research interests are to understand the large-scale ecological patterns with particular emphasis on species richness, abundance and distribution patterns along ecological gradients. Current research focuses on biodiversity values using multi-taxa approach in socio-ecological landscapes in the Eastern Himalaya.
