While studying the birds, I have developed interest in many aspects of Ornithology starting from their life history to behavioural biology and social behaviour.
Later with the improvements of listing and recording of avian fauna using smartphone applications I have shifted to citizen science projects in order to understand the behaviour, distribution and ecology of birds.
Presently I am involved with citizen science project Bihu Bird Count (BBC) under Assam Bird Monitoring Network (ABMN), partnered with Birdcount India and powered by eBird.
