Kaleem Ahmed

My interests range from birds in urban and semi-urban ecosystems to biodiversity assessment and rare and endangered species monitoring. I am also interested in understanding birds’ ecology at the species and community levels. I also focus on understanding bird community structure in human-dominated landscapes such as urban and agricultural ecosystems and forest ecosystems. I am teaching Ornithology and Animal Behaviour at the Department of Wildlife Sciences at the postgraduate level.

Currently working on two projects Avifaunal diversity in agro-ecosystem: Nautanwa, Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh, India, and Nest density and Nest-site characteristics of selected avian species in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India
